About Me

I’m a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, overwhelm, and life transitions. My approach blends talk therapy with mindfulness, Buddhist psychotherapy, and EMDR, an evidence-based therapy that helps people process difficult experiences and move past stuck thoughts, feelings, and patterns.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, personal, and human—a space where you can show up as you are without judgment. I also believe humor can be an important part of healing.

I also offer animal-assisted therapy with my therapy dog, Stevie, whose calming presence can help clients feel more comfortable and supported.

Why Work With Me

Sometimes people come to therapy knowing exactly what’s wrong. Other times, they just know they’re exhausted, stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or repeating the same painful patterns over and over again. Many of my clients are thoughtful, insightful people who have spent years trying to “think their way out” of their struggles, only to find that insight alone isn’t creating lasting change.

My role is to help you move beyond just understanding your patterns and begin truly healing them.

I bring a combination of clinical skill, deep listening, warmth, humor, and genuine compassion to the work I do. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up with me because they feel accepted—not judged or analyzed. You can bring the messy, confusing, complicated parts of yourself into therapy.
